Monty DVD Fundraiser

To help raise money for our SMARTboards, we are selling a DVD full of memories of Monty, Mr. Gertsch's famous and beloved python snake.  All proceeds will go towards efforts in raising money for SMARTboards for every classroom.  Each DVD is $5.  If you have ever met Monty, held him, or had class with him, this DVD is for YOU!  Please turn in all orders to the office by May 15th.  Thanks for your support!

Great Literacy Apps for iPod

Check out the list of over 63 apps that will help your child learn the alphabet, write the letters correctly, brush up on sight words, read fun books, listen to fun books, or brush up on their spelling and grammar skills in the summer.  The list is organized into alphabet skills, phonics skills, reading skills, word skills, and writing and grammar skills. It shares who it is for, what is the cost, and reviews from other parents.  At the end it also has two links that will continually update when new apps come out.  What a great inexpensive resource for parents to use wherever you go!
